Every male teacher on our staff is a certified Hafiz or Qari who has been tested on Tajweed, interviewed, and trained in teaching before their first class. You are matched with one teacher who stays with you throughout.

One teacher who knows exactly where you are
The single biggest difference between an online Quran class that works and one that quietly fizzles out is whether the student has a teacher or a rota. Being passed between whoever is free that day means nobody remembers which letters you struggle with, which pages you rushed last month, or that you always slip on the same ayah. Progress stalls and nobody notices.
We match every student with one teacher. He keeps a written record of your recitation — the makharij that need work, the portions that came out shaky, the pace you can actually sustain — and that record is what shapes each lesson. When you return after a break, he knows precisely where to resume rather than starting with a guess.
All of our male teachers have completed Hifz and hold recognised qualification in Tajweed. Many hold an Ijazah with a connected sanad. Beyond qualification, each one is assessed on the thing that matters most in a one-to-one class: whether they can hear a mistake and correct it without discouraging the student. Knowing the Quran and being able to teach it are different skills, and we test for both.
Classes run around the clock, so students in North America, Europe, the Gulf and Australia all study at times that suit their day rather than ours. If your schedule changes, your slot moves with it, and your teacher stays the same.
Vetting
How we select every teacher
Five stages, every applicant. Knowing the Quran and being able to teach it are different skills, so we test for both.

Hifz completion verified
We test recitation directly rather than accepting a certificate at face value. Applicants recite randomly selected portions from across the Quran.

Tajweed examination
A formal assessment on makharij, the rules of noon and meem sakinah, madd and qalqalah — applied in recitation, not answered as theory.

Teaching trial
A live trial lesson with a real student, observed. Many strong reciters do not pass this stage, and that is the point of having it.

Background and references
Identity verification and references from previous institutions before any teacher is assigned to a student, particularly for classes with children.

Ongoing review
Teachers are reviewed on student progress and parent feedback. A teacher whose students stop improving is retrained or replaced.

All have completed Hifz and hold recognised qualification in Tajweed, and many hold an Ijazah with a connected sanad. Every teacher is tested by us directly rather than on the strength of a certificate alone.
Will I have the same teacher every class?
Yes. You are matched with one teacher who keeps a record of your progress. Cover is only arranged if he is unwell or travelling, and you are told in advance.
Can I change teacher if it is not a good fit?
Yes, at any point and at no cost. A mismatch in pace or teaching style is common and is nobody's fault — tell us and we reassign.
What languages do the teachers speak?
English and Urdu are standard. Arabic is available on request, and we can usually accommodate other languages depending on availability.
What times are classes available?
Twenty-four hours a day across time zones. Early morning before work and after-school slots are the most requested, so book those further ahead.
Do male teachers teach female students?
For adult sisters we recommend a female teacher, and we have qualified female Huffaz available. For young girls, families choose according to their own preference.
Is there a free trial?
