Course
Quran Memorization Revision Program
For Huffaz who have completed the Quran and intend to keep it. A fixed rotation ensures every juz is heard by a teacher on a regular cycle — not just the parts you happen to remember well.
Overview
Keeping what took years to build
Completing the Quran is not the end of the work; it is the point at which the work changes shape. A Hafiz who stops reciting to a listener will lose portions, slowly and without noticing. The classical advice about memorisation being harder to keep than a tethered camel is not a metaphor about effort — it is a practical warning about what happens when nothing is holding it in place.
This programme is that tether. It is deliberately unglamorous: a fixed rotation, scheduled sessions, and a teacher who hears you recite whether or not you feel like reciting that day. There is no new memorisation and no repair phase, because it assumes you are starting from a stable position.
The rotation is designed around your available time rather than an ideal. A student with three thirty-minute sessions a week covers the full Quran on a longer cycle than one doing five sixty-minute sessions, and both are valid — what matters is that the cycle is complete and predictable, so no juz is left unheard for months at a stretch.
Every quarter, your teacher re-tests a random selection of portions. This catches drift that the rotation alone might miss and lets the cycle be adjusted. If a portion has weakened significantly, you move temporarily to the Hifz Revision Course to repair it properly before returning.
Who it's for
Is this the right course for you?
-
1
Recent Huffaz
Students who have just completed the Quran and want to protect it from the very beginning rather than after it starts slipping.
-
2
Established Huffaz
Those who completed years ago, revise reasonably well alone, and want the accountability of scheduled listening.
-
3
Imams and teachers
Anyone who recites publicly and needs every portion at a standard where it can be relied on without preparation.
Outcomes
What you will achieve
Every student is assessed in the first class and placed at the right starting point, so nobody repeats what they already know.
- Cover the full Quran on a complete, repeating cycle
- Keep every juz at reliable recitation standard
- Catch drift early, before it becomes a gap
- Maintain readiness to lead prayer at any time
- Build a habit that survives a busy schedule
- Have a written record of your revision history
Curriculum
How the course is structured
No syllabus, no new memorisation. A cycle, a schedule, and a listener.
-
1
Baseline test
Establishing the current strength of each juz, so the cycle starts from an accurate picture.
-
2
Cycle design
A rotation sized to your available minutes per week, guaranteeing complete coverage on a known schedule.
-
3
Scheduled listening
Reciting the day's portion to your teacher, with corrections logged as they occur.
-
4
Error tracking
A running record of the words and ayahs you slip on most, so weak spots are visible over time.
-
5
Quarterly review
A random spot-check across the Quran to catch drift the rotation might have missed.
-
6
Cycle adjustment
Resizing the rotation when your schedule changes, so coverage never silently becomes incomplete.

I completed in 2019 and drifted badly by 2022. Two years on this programme and I have not lost a page since.

The quarterly spot-check is what makes it work. It finds things the normal cycle misses.

this course

Ask a coordinator →How is this different from the Hifz Revision Course?
The Revision Course repairs and stabilises portions that have weakened. This programme is the long-term maintenance that follows once everything is solid. If you have significant weak areas, start there and move here afterwards.
How much time does it take weekly?
Three to five sessions is typical for maintaining a full Quran. Your teacher will tell you honestly if your cycle is too long to be effective at your chosen frequency.
Can I pause during exams or travel?
Yes. Your position in the cycle is recorded and you resume from there rather than restarting the rotation.
Do I need to have completed the full Quran?
No, but you should be in a stable position with whatever you hold. The cycle is built around your actual memorisation.
What if a portion has badly weakened?
Your teacher moves it into focused repair, or recommends switching to the Hifz Revision Course temporarily if several portions need serious work.
Can I do this before Ramadan only?
You can, and many do. But the students who keep their Quran best are the ones who treat it as year-round rather than seasonal.
Do you provide a record of my revision?
Yes. Every session is logged, and you can see which portions were heard when and where the recurring errors are.
